I stayed at Spatel D'Annam for two nights, and while the location next to the Citadel was perfect, my experience was mixed. I enjoyed the charming outdoor space and swimming pool, but there were some drawbacks. The breakfast left much to be desired, and my room was small and noisy at night.

I was initially placed in a room with a window facing the reception, which was odd and very unprivate. Thankfully, on my second night, I was moved to a lovely room overlooking the pool, which was much better! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and overall, the decor was nice.
